Sea Freight
Full container loads and consolidated sea freight, coordinated from the port of origin to destination.

Flexible options for different cargo volumes
Sea freight accommodates a wide range of cargo, with a choice between a full container load and a consolidated shipment. The appropriate option depends on volume, weight, cargo sensitivity, origin port and timeframe.
ELISHAR coordinates sea imports and exports, bookings, collection, transport documents and onward port and customs arrangements. Road transport, storage, packing and cargo insurance coordination can be added where required.

Sea freight FAQs
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL is a full container load allocated to one shipment. LCL is a smaller shipment consolidated with other cargo in a shared container and may suit lower volumes.
When is sea freight suitable?
Sea freight is particularly relevant for large or heavy cargo and shipments with more flexible arrival dates. Assess the total cost, schedule and cargo characteristics.
Can collection and road delivery be included?
Yes. Collection to the origin port and onward transport from the Israeli port can be coordinated according to the trade terms and cargo requirements.
Is the sailing time the total delivery time?
No. Sailing time is only one stage. Allow for collection, documents, port handling, customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
